Terms of Use

These Terms govern your access to and use of www.shorelinelivemusic.com.
Effective Date: July 28, 2026  |  Last Updated: August 16, 2026

Who We Are
The Website is operated by Shoreline Live Music ("Shoreline Live Music," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Connecticut.

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Website.

Purpose of the Website
Shoreline Live Music provides information about live-music events, performers, venues, and related entertainment throughout the Connecticut shoreline and surrounding areas.

The Website is an informational event-listing service. Except for paid Featured Venue placements described below, Shoreline Live Music is not the performer, venue, promoter, booking agent, ticket seller, or event organizer for any listing, and does not sell tickets, take reservations, or process payments for events.

Event Information May Change
Event information may be submitted by venues, performers, event organizers, website users, public sources, social-media pages, or other third parties.

Although we may review or verify information, we do not guarantee that any listing is:
  • accurate
  • complete
  • current
  • officially confirmed
  • free from errors
  • available to the public
  • suitable for any particular visitor
  • Events may be changed, postponed, relocated, sold out, restricted, or canceled without notice.

Always contact the venue directly, or check the venue's official website or social-media page, before you travel to an event.

No Guarantee of Admission or Experience
A listing on the Website does not guarantee:
  • admission
  • ticket availability
  • seating
  • parking
  • food or beverage availability
  • accessibility
  • performer appearance
  • event quality
  • weather suitability
  • safety
  • compliance by a venue or organizer with applicable laws

You are responsible for your own decisions about whether to attend an event.

Featured Venues and Paid Placements
★ Featured Venue

Featured Venue placements are paid advertising. A venue marked with the Featured Venue badge, or shown in a Featured Venues section, has paid a fee to Shoreline Live Music for that placement.

A Featured Venue placement may include a badge, priority position in the Venue Directory or on the event calendar, an expanded venue page, or additional promotional treatment.

Paid placement affects where and how a venue appears. It does not affect the accuracy standards we apply to event listings, and it is not an endorsement, review, rating, or recommendation of a venue, its food and beverage service, its performers, or its safety practices.

Listings that do not carry a Featured Venue badge are unpaid editorial listings. We do not accept payment in exchange for a favorable description of any venue or performer.

Information about Featured Venue placement is available at Become a Featured Venue.

Age, Admission, and Venue Rules
Venues and event organizers may impose age restrictions, cover charges, reservation requirements, dress codes, conduct rules, alcohol restrictions, or other conditions. Some listed events are restricted to guests 21 and over.

You are responsible for confirming and following all venue and event requirements.

The Website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to venue websites, performer pages, social-media platforms, maps, ticketing providers, reservation systems, and other third-party services.

A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement. Shoreline Live Music does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, products, availability, privacy practices, security, transactions, or conduct.

Any transaction with a third party is solely between you and that third party.

Website Content
Unless otherwise stated, the Website's original design, branding, written content, layout, graphics, and compilation of information belong to Shoreline Live Music or are used with permission.

Without our written permission, you may not:
  • copy substantial portions of the Website
  • scrape or systematically collect listings
  • republish the event database
  • reproduce the Shoreline Live Music name or logo
  • use Website content to operate a competing directory
  • remove copyright, trademark, or attribution notices
  • use automated systems that interfere with the Website
  • Individual band names, venue names, logos, photographs, flyers, and promotional materials may belong to their respective owners.

Sharing Listings
You may view and share links to publicly available event pages for personal, noncommercial purposes.

In addition, and notwithstanding the restrictions above:
  • A venue may share, repost, embed, or link to listings for events at that venue, including on its own commercial website and social-media accounts.
  • A performer may share, repost, embed, or link to listings for that performer's own appearances.
  • An event organizer may share, repost, embed, or link to listings for events that organizer is presenting.

This permission covers sharing an individual listing or a link to it. It does not permit copying the Website's design or republishing our calendar or directory as a whole.
